Trano Architecture’s for-profit journey concluded in 2024, its spirit and principles remain integral to my current independent practice as a Liberal Architect, where I continue to advocate for sustainable architecture and contribute to meaningful urban development initiatives with new bigger more ambitious projects planned for 2025 !

While TRANO Architecture’s activities have evolved, its principles will live on through a new non-profit entity dedicated to educational, social, and cultural initiatives. This transformation aims to expand Trano’s legacy into a platform for broader community impact and collaboration, with details to be disclosed soon.

Founded in 2013, TRANO Architecture was a pioneering force in Madagascar, shaping diverse projects that ranged from luxury resorts to social housing, public buildings, and cultural landmarks. Leading Trano for over a decade has been an incredible journey, and I am excited to channel that experience into bold new endeavors that reflect my commitment to innovative design and sustainable architecture. Together, we will continue to redefine architecture as a tool for progress, community, and resilience.

I am experimenting innovative design, and when given the opportunity, integrate all aspects of the architectural process: master planning, formal architecture, interior design, landscaping, furniture design and branding. Sustainability is also a major aspect of my practice while taking into consideration tropical environment, affordable and reliable building materials as well as effective ventilation principles.

I have gained work experiences at different architectural firms in Canada and Madagascar. Trained in Urban Planning, I, then graduated in 2007 with a Master’s degree in Architecture from the École d’Architecture de l’Université de Montréal. I am now taking an active part at promoting Architect Profession around the country engaging in think tanks and working groups on contextual topics ranging from my involvement with local communities as well with government institutions.
